Heather & Eric

Heather Walter (environmental educator and singer) and Eric West (Newfoundland classical guitarist and songwriter) have been performing music together for more than ten years – in concert halls, schools, at festivals, and on radio and television. Their music is a blend of traditional and original music, a celebration of natural and cultural heritage. Together they have performed on Sesame Street, produced national and television and radio shows, recorded three albums, published a children’s storybook, toured across Canada, and won awards for their work in combining music and environmental education. Since Heather’s move from Newfoundland to Alberta several years ago, the duo looks forward to any excuse for a musical reunion … including a recent stint at the GEOEC Conference 2001!
