The GEOEC Job Board is available for your use!

Postings must be related to education (global or environmental), resource management, interpretation, and outdoor pursuits. Postings will be displayed on this page in chronological order with the closest to application closing date at the top and will be removed from this site on the first business day after the application date closes.

Please direct posting requests to info@geoec.org. Please provide details on the job title, name of organization, one descriptive paragraph about the position, closing date for application and a link to the organization’s Web site for more information.

If your organization does not have a Web site, there are several sites that provide job posting capabilities – GoodWorkCanada.ca, CharityVillage.com or Idealist.org. Once you have posted the position on one of these sites, provide us with the link from that site, and we would be happy to promote it here.

Position: Environmental Educator

Description: Sierra Club BC seeks a keen, creative and highly energetic individual to join their Take Action! Student Engagement Project delivery team. The successful candidate will be highly enthusiastic about teaching critical environmental topics through Sierra Club's unique action learning programs. The candidate will assist in the delivery team’s wrap-up of the 2007-2008 school year, specifically the Take Action Student Engagement Project and its variously themed programs.

Description: You will be the senior teacher at the Norval Outdoor School, a residential outdoor education facility. Working with the Norval Director and 3 Instructors, you will plan and deliver exceptional Outdoor Education programming for students of Upper Canada College, as well as a number of other schools from the Greater Toronto Area. Participants range in age from SK through High School. All Norval faculty share in overnight supervision of students.
